The sign outside mum and dad's Graceland inspired home said "Welcome To Vegas". The long red carpet, 20 or so plastic pink flamingoes and the bridal party arriving in a purple convertible didn't disappoint!
"When we heard you dressed as Elvis and then you turned up in your red Holden EJ ute, we instantly knew you were the celebrant for us! Thanks for being you, just fabulous!"

Carly and Murray wed overlooking Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head. The white Balinese flags and umbrellas symbolizing the aisle and altar were drenched in a sudden downpour just as they'd been erected but then the clouds parted and let the sun shine through. This wedding was a family affair and all relationships were honoured. The bride and groom's mums were asked to hold the wedding rings to their hearts and bless them prior to the ring vows and exchange, a very moving moment.
"Thank you again for everything and for heading our ceremony - we couldn't have imagined a better person for the job. And a huge thank you to Andy too for all his help on the day. It was so nice to meet and have you both there on the day."

Ylva and Anthony

Ylva and Anthony chose to exchange their vows beside the sea. They invited their guests to take a moment to enjoy the simple pleasures of nature…. the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, the smell of the fresh salt air and the feel of the sand between their toes.

Ylva and Anthony wished to perform a sand ceremony, the different coloured sands poured from their individual vessels represented their unique personalities and when intermingled into one single vessel represented their bond and their unity.
"We would like to thank you for being so fantastic as our wedding celebrant! After having attended many weddings, when we met you, you were everything we expected you not to be ...you were fun, happy and professional! You really are great at what you do and we thank you for helping us with everything from the paperwork to helping us find the perfect words for the ceremony!"

Both mum and dad accompanied the bride up the "aisle" made from driftwood, flowers and shells leading to the "altar", a bamboo cabana draped with saris.

"Thanks for everything Deb, you were great! Thank you for your excellent choice of music and you even turned up with extra fabric to funk up the bamboo sun shelter!"

Wow what a celebration! This was a very special wedding held at their property. 8 groomsmen and 8 bridesmaids. Instead of rings they gave each other a tree, which they will plant on their property. These trees will grow just as their love for each other will grow. These trees will be a constant reminder of their vows and their wedding day!

“Ashley & I would like to thank you for helping us make our wedding day as special as it was. Your amazing energy flowed throughout the entire day and night. The ceremony you created connected with how we felt and how we wanted to communicate our feelings to our friends and family. We couldn’t have chosen a more open, calm, magically beautiful celebrant to marry us, you have touched our hearts with your loving nature and radiant smile.”

So simple and so natural. The bride walked over a freshly mown path through a paddock, to a clearing in the forest. The air is fresh, it's still and quiet and her groom is waiting. It was all about the love.

"Thanks Deb, we couldn't have wished for someone more lovely! How did you get to know us so well in such a short period of time? Your words were poignant and moving!"

Shona and Adrian

Shona's mum and dad had worked so hard preparing the garden for the wedding of Adrian and Shona. The wisteria was in full bloom and made a beautiful canopy over the signing table. Shona arrived in her dad's fully restored EH Holden which was polished to perfection. Beautiful harp music played while the proud father walked his daughter down the flower strewn aisle and just as proudly gave Shona away to her awaiting groom.

"It was such a beautiful ceremony and we were surprised to find that you had made such a gorgeous booklet for us with our vows in it. We will treasure it always along with our memories of that day. You and your husband are such amazing people, we just cannot thank you enough for all of your extra touches that made our day so special. We hope you are still in the business in 20 years so we can renew our vows with you!"

Held at a beautifully crafted stone hall, Peter and Janet were sourrounded by family, friends and happy vibes

"...we wanted to have a wedding that was out of the ordinary, a wedding that would be unique and truly our own wedding...thanks for the beautiful words to say to each other, you were our strength on the day. We feel Debbie is a unique marriage celebrant and we are so happy that we chose her for our special day. Thank you Deb, from the bottom of our hearts. See you at the vow renewal."
