Do you want your wedding ceremony to be low key with little fuss, are you on a budget or maybe you are thinking of eloping?  I offer a simple and affordable yet meaningful wedding ceremony, which is an alternative to the registry office.  This is an intimate ceremony for up to 10 persons.
The Venue
Take your vows and make your promises on a covered timber deck in a tropical garden setting in the picturesque Tuntable Falls Valley. Your wedding day is, after all, as a couple, one of life’s most exciting and important moments, so create a memory that will last a lifetime.

Legal Requirements

The Marriage Act requires The Notice of Intended Marriage (nim) form to be completed, signed and witnessed, and lodged with me no less than one calendar month and one day prior to the day of your wedding ceremony.

The Cost
$330 plus $44 for official marriage certificate mon – thurs 10am to 5pm or $400 plus $44 for official marriage certificate fri – sun 10am to 3pm

2011 is the year of the rabbit in the Chinese calendar and this is the year for feeling ‘loved-up’ and comfy at home.  You may probably know that Chinese people usually choose an auspicious date for their wedding, believing that choosing a good date for the marriage would bring good fortune and luck to both the couple and the two families involved.

  • Professional and friendly service with unlimited phone and/or email communications

  • Fun and casual or simple and romantic marriage ceremony.
  • Ceremony portfolio; 3 ceremony samples including vows, blessings, readings and rituals

  • Lodgement of all documents

  • Dressed signing table and chair

  • Use of PA system for music (if requested)

  • Supply champagne glasses for toasting purposes only (if requested)

What to do:

Before the day….

  • Telephone to book a date and time
  • Download the NIM form – www.ag.gov.au - complete and send to me – a deposit of $100 is required at this stage to secure your date and time
  • You will receive the ‘ceremony portfolio’ via email which you can add or delete, cut and paste to tell your own love story or simply choose the ceremony you believe speaks of your love story

On the day….

  • You will need to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to complete Form 14
  • I will need to sight before married:
    • Original copy of birth certicate
    • Passport OK for overseas visitors
    • Original  Divorce/Death Certificate (if previously married)
    • Original Change of Name Certificate (if applicable)
  • Please feel free to organise a photographer to capture your special day
  • Rice and/or petal throwing, releasing butterflies and/or bubbles permitted
  • Ceremony duration is approximately 20 – 30 minutes including signing Marriage Certificates and Register
